In reverse order, these images show a new rocking chair evolving from a model built out of 2” thick extruded foam to a solid Hard Maple prototype.
Hard Maple, or Sugar Maple, is sometimes referred to as Rock Maple- because it really is that durable.
The design is decidedly scaled up from your grandmother’s delicate rocker. With a sculpted seat, she rocks like a dream.

In a unique take on the campaign chest, this version of our Campaign Style Media Stand combines a bright white dovetailed case with spalted Poplar doors and drawer fronts. The trim and flush handles are solid polished brass. All the wires and components are neatly hidden.
This pair of handcrafted Solid Pennsylvania Maple Benches would pair perfectly with the Trestle Table– or wherever you please!
The lovely chunky Maple (1 5/8″ thick!), finished in Satin Lacquer, is mitered at each corner creating a waterfall edge where the grain flows to the ground.
Measuring 68 3/4” long x 18” high x 12” wide, the benches tuck away neatly to save space, then pull out easily to provide seating for up to 3 people.

This project is another piece for Mona Ross Berman Interiors. Originally designed as one long cabinet to support a TV while providing storage, the single unit was reconfigured to become two interlocking dressers than can separate, in the event the client moves or wants to repurpose them.
Solid polished Brass trim, flush mounted campaign pulls and BM White Heron are the finishing details. The top will be protected by a long piece of glass when it arrives at its home on Broadway, in NYC, so that a hot mug of coffee can be set the piece without having to worry about protecting the surface.
As always with our campaign dressers, this piece is built of solid dovetailed Pennsylvania hardwoods (four boxes in each: the base, the larger frame as well as the drawers) and utilizes German made soft close slides.

We have two beautiful space saving Queen size Murphy Beds on display. One is Walnut, the other is Ash, both constructed from sustainably harvested Pennsylvania lumber, with crown molding and stunning paneled fronts and sides, using state of the art piston hardware (10 year warranty on hardware). The pulls are crafted of matching wood. Interiors and headboards are painted Benjamin Moore’s Wickham Gray.

Mattress not included- but will fit any Queen mattress less than 12″ thick. The dimensions on these beds are 94″ tall x 67″ wide x 17 1/4″ deep. When opened they extend 84″ from the wall.

The latest item out of the woodshop is this custom cube shaped side table for Philadelphia interior designer Jennie Pritzker.
The piece has rounded edges to prevent the client’s toddler from falling onto a pointy edge, is painted in waterborne lacquer in Benjamin Moore Wickham Grey, and measures 28” H x 26” W x 26” D.
Also in progress are two Queen Size Murphy Beds. One is gorgeous Walnut, the other will likely be painted. We will have one of these super useful pieces installed in our new showroom so that clients can come see one in the flesh if they like.
Amazingly lively bookmatched European Walnut drawer fronts are framed by blackened Pennsylvania Maple in this pair of new original Springhouse designed dressers. These dressers are even more stunning in person.
