Mossville’s one room schoolhouse was built in 1840 and was one of the area’s rural schools through 1960. It later served as an antiques store, then an art gallery. When Adam & Nicole Karr bought the property in 2004, the old building became the site of a busy woodshop. Now it has been rennovated and you can come and stay here!
Less than two miles from the world class waterfall hiking at Ricketts Glen State Park. The park offers ice fishing and ice climbing in the winter, a sandy swimming beach, camping, blueberry picking, and boat rentals in the summer, and gorgeous walking through three seasons (four if you have snowshoes or cross country skis or crampons, ice axe and rope!).
We’re about a 3 hour drive from NYC and 2.5 hours from Philadelphia. West of Wilkes-Barre, north of Bloomsburg, east of Williamsport, south of Ithaca and as they say, Conveniently located in the middle of nowhere. It’s beautiful here!
