One Kings Lane recently borrowed one of our large campaign dressers to be included in their Safari style decor sale. The piece is featured on the front page of the site and in the top image for the sale.
The latest completed piece of furniture out of the Springhouse Woodshop is this gorgeous Gloss Black Campaign Dresser with a removable tray top.
Adam built one for a client near Seattle, and a second for our Furniture Studio. Featuring seven dovetailed drawers on soft close self closing slides housed in a dovetailed case on a dovetailed stand, she’s solid all around and certainly beautiful.

This project is another piece for Mona Ross Berman Interiors. Originally designed as one long cabinet to support a TV while providing storage, the single unit was reconfigured to become two interlocking dressers than can separate, in the event the client moves or wants to repurpose them.
Solid polished Brass trim, flush mounted campaign pulls and BM White Heron are the finishing details. The top will be protected by a long piece of glass when it arrives at its home on Broadway, in NYC, so that a hot mug of coffee can be set the piece without having to worry about protecting the surface.
As always with our campaign dressers, this piece is built of solid dovetailed Pennsylvania hardwoods (four boxes in each: the base, the larger frame as well as the drawers) and utilizes German made soft close slides.
Amazingly lively bookmatched European Walnut drawer fronts are framed by blackened Pennsylvania Maple in this pair of new original Springhouse designed dressers. These dressers are even more stunning in person.

The first piece of furniture to move into our new showroom in the old one room schoolhouse is this lovely Campaign Dresser.
The piece is constructed of Solid Pennsylvania Maple and sports seven roomy drawers on soft & self closing concealed drawer slides.
Finished in a neutral warm grey waterborne lacquer, waxed, and all decked out in polished nickel Campaign hardware with recessed pulls, this beauty would add style and substance to your room. Campaign dressers also make classy and sturdy changing tables for a nursery.
Inspired by a slightly smaller mahogany dresser, this Long dresser will provide ample storage for clothes in a Nantucket summer home.
This baby is big: 84” wide x 35” high and 24” deep.
The case is a very large dovetailed rectangle flanked by chunky towers of old- growth Douglas Fir. The four drawers and remainder of the piece are sustainably harvested Pennsylvania Maple toned to a rich dark brown and sealed with a waterborne lacquer.
The drawers are modern and sleek with barely noticeable recesses to open them . They are also dovetailed and employ soft close undermount slides.
Next up are a lovely black antique inspired dresser and a modern parsons style end table. All three pieces will share a bedroom designed by Mona Ross Berman.
This gunsmoke grey campaign dresser with brass hardware was recently delivered to its new home in Hoboken, New Jersey.
The client requested a removable tray top with spaces for the changing pad and baby wipes.
The piece houses seven dovetailed drawers on undermount slides. The finish is a satin waterborne lacquer protected by a coat of clear wax.
Constructed of Pennsylvania Maple, the entire carcass of the dresser and base were constructed using dovetail joints.

We received a lovely note from a client this morning in our inbox. It is always nice to hear that the work is appreciated in our client’s space and life.
Campaign furniture is a type of furniture made for travel. Historically, much of it was made for military campaigns, according to Wikipedia.
The client presented this image for inspiration (right), and asked for gloss white lacquer and bright polished brass hardware (by Paxton Hardware). The entire case is constructed of solid dovetailed Maple and would be sturdy enough for travel, but very heavy.
